6. Redemption Options

All redemption options are available only to KYC/KYB whitelisted wallets. Fees and any premium over spot are quoted before confirmation.

6.1 USDC Redemption

This is the most common and convenient method of redeeming $GOLD.

When you redeem, your $GOLD is burned, and the equivalent amount of USDC is sent to your wallet based on the live spot price.

How It Works

• Redemption Method: Burn $GOLD and receive USDC (SPL)

• Pricing: Redemption price is locked at the time of your request, based on the live market spot rate

• Settlement: May take up to 48 hours

• Redemption Fee: A standard fee applies and is deducted from the USDC you receive

Notes

• USDC is sent to the same Solana wallet used for the redemption request

• Ensure your wallet is able to receive USDC (SPL) tokens

• You must complete KYC to redeem

6.2 Physical Delivery

Every $GOLD token is fully backed and redeemable 1:1 for physical vaulted gold, in minimum increments of 1g. ORO provides multiple redemption options to give users confidence, transparency, and flexibility in how they access their gold.

6.3 Vault Transfer

For institutions or verified users with external vault accounts, we offer direct vault transfers:

• $GOLD is burned

• Equivalent quantity is allocated to your external vault account

This is ideal for high-volume clients and OTC desks.

6.4 Redemption Limits and Restrictions

• Minimum redemption amounts apply for physical gold (typically 1gram)

• Users must be KYC-verified

• Redemption may be unavailable in restricted jurisdictions During periods of high demand or volatility, processing times may increase slightly

6.5 Fee and Premium Structure

Redemptions may incur the following costs depending on method and bar size:

• Logistics Fee: Covers packaging, handling, and secure transport

• Insurance: Applied to physical delivery or high-value in-person pickup

• Premium Over Spot: Physical redemptions may carry a market premium, which varies based on:

  • Bar format (e.g., 10g bars typically carry higher premiums than 1kg bars)

  • Location and delivery method

  • Vault inventory and sourcing

The premium is quoted at the time of redemption and must be accepted before the transaction proceeds.
